Another day, another great conference. The sessions themselves were very similar to REBarCampCLT but the session topics were organized and set up in advance.
There were 4 sessions in all but there were many choices for each session. I was disappointed that I did not get to attend Lexie Longstreet’s Social Networking 101 but I heard that it was a great session. I got the pleasure of teaching Full Motion Video Tours for Real Estate in the first session and I had a blast. I hope my attendees were able to walk away with some good information.
I spent Session 2 in a great Intro Facebook class taught by John Paul Soto. John taught the FB newbie’s how to sign up, what to do once you signed up, and some basic permission controls.
Once again, for me, it was the Twitter class where I learned the most. Lori Bee had me listening to every word as she walked us through the basics of Twitter.
For the last session, I chose Debe Maxwell’s Blogging class. No matter how much you might know about a topic, you can always learn something new, and I did from the Charlotte Blogging Master. (i need cool clip art like you, Debe
As with other conferences of this nature, you have to choose a topic to attend during each of the sessions, and you will always miss a few. There were so many other great topics that I cant wait for the CRRA to hold the next conference so I can attend some new classes. Here are a few on the agenda that I did not get to see this time:
Palm Treo, Social Networking 101, Syndication of Listings, Outlook for Realtors, CSS, LinkedIn, RealFast2Go, GIS/Polaris, Real Estate Photography, Blackberry’s, CMLS Tips & Tricks, Syndication of Listings, Branding with LinkedIn and Facebook.
If you are a Charlotte Realtor and you missed it, you owe it to yourself and your business to not miss future events. The technology ball is moving so fast that if you don’t keep up, you will get left out.
Thanks to Karyn Lindsey and everyone over at CRRA who put on a great conference.
